These Terms govern your use of sanis.qa and any order placed with Sani's Bakes, a brand of SANIS CONFECTIONERY TRADING WLL ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these Terms. They are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, including Law No. 8 of 2008 on Consumer Protection and Law No. 16 of 2010 on Electronic Commerce and Transactions.

1. Orders

• Orders are placed through WhatsApp (+974 7013 9002), phone or email. An order is confirmed only when we send written confirmation of the design, size, date, total price and the advance is received.
• Custom cakes need at least 48 hours' notice. Tiered cakes and large orders may need 3–5 days. Urgent orders are accepted only when we can do them well.
• Pictures on this website and our Instagram show past work. Handmade cakes can vary slightly in colour, shape and decoration from the reference.

2. Prices and payment

• All prices are in Qatari Riyals (QAR). Standard custom cakes start from QAR 150 and extra customisation is added to this price; your final price is the one in our written confirmation.
• A 50% advance is required to book a date. The balance is due before or at pick-up or delivery.
• We accept bank transfer, cash and other methods confirmed at the time of order. We never ask for card details over WhatsApp.

3. Changes to an order

Design or size changes can be requested up to 48 hours before the due date and may change the price. Later changes are made only if possible.

4. Delivery and pick-up

• We deliver within Doha and nearby areas. The delivery charge depends on location and is confirmed with your order.
• Please make sure someone is available at the delivery address at the agreed time. Once the cake is handed over, responsibility for storage and handling passes to you.
• If a delivery cannot be completed because no one is available or the address is wrong, a re-delivery fee may apply.

5. Storage and allergens

• Cakes should be kept refrigerated and eaten within 2–3 days. Remove non-edible toppers, sticks and supports before serving.
• Our kitchen handles milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), nuts, peanuts, soy and sesame. We cannot guarantee any product is free from these allergens. Please tell us about allergies before ordering.

6. Designs, logos and characters

Character, brand or logo themes are made on request for personal celebrations only. You confirm that you have the right to use any picture, logo or design you send us.

7. Liability

Our liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, except where Qatari law does not allow such a limit. We are not responsible for damage after hand-over, or for delays caused by events outside our control.

Because every cake is a fresh, perishable food made to your order, our refund rules follow the nature of the product while respecting your rights under Qatar's Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 2008.

1. Cancellations

• More than 72 hours before the due date: full refund of the advance.
• 48–72 hours before: 50% of the advance is refunded.
• Less than 48 hours before: the advance is not refundable, as ingredients and custom toppers have already been prepared.
• Instead of a refund, you may move your order to a new date within 30 days, subject to availability.

2. Returns

Fresh food cannot be returned once it has been delivered or collected. Please check your cake at hand-over.

3. Problems with your cake

• If your cake is damaged on our delivery, materially different from the confirmed order, or has a quality problem, contact us within 6 hours of receiving it on WhatsApp +974 7013 9002 with photos, and keep the cake.
• After review we will offer a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund, depending on the issue.
• Small handmade variations in colour, shape or decoration are not defects.

4. When we cancel

If we must cancel an order for any reason, you receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method or by bank transfer within 7–14 working days.

We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use sanis.qa or order from us.

1. What we collect

• Name, phone number, email and delivery address you share with us.
• Order details, such as occasion, date, design, names or photos for the cake.
• Payment confirmations (we do not store card numbers).
• Basic technical data from your browser when you visit the site.

2. How we use it

• To take, prepare, deliver and support your order.
• To contact you about your order on WhatsApp, phone or email.
• To send offers only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax duties in Qatar.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with delivery partners and payment providers, or with authorities when the law requires it.

4. Photos of your cake

We may share photos of cakes on Instagram and this website. We never post personal photos, faces or private details you send us without your permission. Tell us if you prefer your cake not to be shared.

5. Keeping and protecting data

We keep order data only as long as needed for the order and legal record keeping, and we protect it with reasonable safeguards.

6. Your rights
